1. Trim Stems
Trim the stems on an angle with sharp scissors or secateurs. This helps flowers absorb water more effectively. Recut the stems every 2-3 days to keep them fresh.
2. Remove Leaves Below the Water
Remove any leaves or foliage that fall below the water line, as they can decay and encourage bacterial growth which will infect your flowers.
3. Clean Vase and Fresh Water
Use a clean vase filled with fresh water. Refresh the water every 2-3 days when you recut the stems from step 1. This helps the flowers to keep looking their best.
